PRIVACY POLICY

Howard Sheri Corporation (the "Company") owns and operates the AgentsCompared.com website (the "Site"). The Company is committed to transparency and has established this Privacy Policy to describe how your personally identifiable information ("PII") will be treated. Please read it carefully.

The Company may alter or amend this Privacy Policy at any time by revising this page, but only after providing you with prior notice via email and an opportunity to remove your PII or, if applicable, opt-out.  The Privacy Policy was last revised on May 2, 2009. 

The Company retains PII that you submit, including your name, address, phone number, email address, facsimile number, and cell phone number.  Such information may be shared with the Company's employees, agents and contractors in connection with the operation, maintenance and enhancement of the Site, and provision of services by the Site.  Furthermore, we may share such information (including, without limitation, providing it in response to a subpoena) if we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding any illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of the Site's Terms of Use, defamation, or as otherwise required by law.  However, we will not sell or lease your PII to any third party vendors or service providers without your prior consent.

Because of the nature of the primary service offered on and by the Site, all PII submitted by real estate professionals registered on the Site will of course be displayed on the Site when appropriate, thus making it available to anyone with access to the Internet. Thereafter such information could become quickly and widely replicated on the Internet, beyond just appearing on the Site.  Also, if a real estate professional registered on the Site elects to have the Site "remember" his or her login name, a "cookie" containing same will be placed upon the computer used to access the Site. 

From time to time the Company may want to alert real estate professionals registered on the site to specific offers, updated information, issues related to registration on the Site, and new services the Site may offer, and will use the PII submitted during registration to make contact with such persons.  Accordingly we may send such persons direct mailings or contact them by telephone, facsimile or email about our various services or other services we think may be of interest to them.  If you do not want to receive such alerts, simply "opt-out" by notifying us at privacy@AgentsCompared.com. Advise us of your name and email address, and your desire to "opt-out" of alerts. 

If (separate from registering on the Site) you previously submitted your email address to us to be included on one or more of our email lists, you will receive occasional emails from us relating to your stated areas of interest.  If you no longer wish to be included on such list(s), you can either follow the "unsubscribe" instructions contained at the bottom of such email messages, or utilize the opt-out procedure set forth above.   Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company reserves the right to contact any real estate professional that has registered on the Site in order to request or provide information related to the professional's continued use of the Site. 

Please be aware that links to advertiser and other third party websites on the Site may collect PII about you.  The information practices of such advertisers and/or third parties are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and Company has no responsibility or liability for such advertisers' or third parties' policies or actions.

Please be careful and responsible online. If you post PII online that is accessible to the public, on the Site or otherwise, you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. It may also be impossible or extremely burdensome for you to alter or remove such information from the Internet once it has been posted.  Once posted, such information can be quickly and widely replicated on the Internet.  Company cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information through the transmission process and you do so at your own risk. Once PII submitted by you is posted on the Site, it becomes public information. 

The Site is not intended to be accessed or utilized by persons under the age of 18, and the Company does not intend or purposefully attempt to gather, retain, use or disclose any information from persons under the age of 18.

You can request a copy of your PII retained by the Company, correct factual inaccuracies in any of your information retained by the Company, remove PII from the Company's databases and/or update your PII by contacting us at privacy@AgentsCompared.com. However, removal of certain information may render the Company unable to provide you with the services you have purchased on the Site.

If you have any concerns relating to this Privacy Policy, please send a thorough description to privacy@AgentsCompared.com, and we will try to resolve them. Any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and the Site's Terms of Use, including limitations on damages, venue, and application of the law of the State of Illinois.
